Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Nuggits. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Nuggits is in a private, invite-only alpha, and these terms will evolve as the service grows.
Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using Nuggits, you agree to be bound by these terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Eligibility and the private alpha
Nuggits is currently available by invitation only. Because it is early alpha software, accounts and features may be limited, changed, reset, or discontinued at any time, and data may be removed as we develop the service. You must be at least 13 years old to use Nuggits.
Your account
You are responsible for providing accurate information, for keeping your credentials secure, and for activity that happens under your account. Let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Abuse, harass, or harm other members.
- Post unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
- Scrape, harvest, or bulk-extract data from the service, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to it.
- Misuse invitations or the recommendation features to spam others.
Your content
You own the content you create on Nuggits — your queue, notes, and recommendations. You grant us a limited license to store, display, and process that content as needed to operate the service, including sharing it with the members you choose according to your sharing settings. Your notes and the source of your recommendations remain private to you.
Third-party catalog data
Catalog metadata and images are provided by third parties and belong to them. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Board game data is provided by BoardGameGeek, and book data by Google Books. Your use of that data is subject to the respective providers' terms.
Service provided "as is"
Nuggits is alpha software and is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nuggits and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of the service.
Termination
You may stop using Nuggits and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or to protect the service and its members.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify members. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Fort Collins, Colorado.
